Butler et Chinquee: Last Names that Begin with Contiguous Letters of the Alphabet

Kim Chinquee has four new short-shorts live at Guernica. Check 'em. "The Girl" hits right in the gut.

Also, earlier in Guernica: excerpts entitled "The Machine Edda" from Zachary Mason's novel-in-progress, which looks like another synaptic orgasm. The Lost Books of the Odyssey being the other, earlier novel. You can read the Lost Books in its entirety here. Pretty much start with any chapter. It's all good.

Plus, excerpt from Deb Olin Unferth's highly praised novel Vacation.

Blake Butler's novella EVER is out and running and vacuuming out skulls (not without giving something better in return, though). I probably don't have to remind anyone. I shouldn't have to, anyway. Order here and all of your wildest dreams will come true. Blake says things about his child's arrival. This is only the beginning of the torrent of Butler books to run wild in the years ahead.

Blake has new words live at Wigleaf, too. Go on, now. No, please stay. Okay, go.
