No Country for Old Men

The Coen brothers bring part of Cormac McCarthy's world to life this Fall. Counting down.

i'm so stoked on this. can't wait. even though NCFOM was by far by least favorite McCarthy book, it still should be better than most of the crap that's been coming out in theaters these days.

True that. Child of God and The Road were better, and I'm pretty sure Blood Meridian and Suttree are even better than that. Still, I'm counting the days until NCFOM. Looks like the Coen boys did it justice anyway, if the trailer is any indication.

Thanks for stopping by my spot and leaving such a nice comment. I'm going to check out your spot now. I am excited to see that you're reading Derrida. Long live Derrida!

No problem, Chris. Yes, I enjoy Derrida's writing a lot, along with Baudrillard, Barthes, Benjamin, Blanchot, and company. Fascinating stuff; some of the most interesting fiction I've ever read. Thanks for stopping by. Hope you enjoy your stay and find your way back soon.
